Server 12 Multi is back
Server 12 now resolves its own multi-audio stream instead of depending on an outside lookup service, so it is online again — faster, with Hindi pre-selected.
- ✓Server 12 Multi is live again after its outage.
- ✓The outage was caused by a third-party lookup service in the middle of the chain returning errors. Server 12 now resolves its multi-audio stream directly on our own infrastructure, so that dependency can no longer take it down.
- ✓Every Server 12 episode is a single 1080p stream carrying Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, English and Japanese audio, switchable from the player's audio menu.
- ✓Hindi audio is now pre-selected on Server 12 instead of starting on Japanese.
- ✓Server 12 appears only under the MULTI audio filter now, because every track it returns is multi-audio. Previously it could be listed under SUB and DUB with nothing playable behind it.
- ✓Server 12 episodes start quicker: an extra metadata lookup and repeated retries against an unreachable backend were removed from every request.
- ✓Retired the Server 12 sub-and-dub backend that had stopped responding, along with two other sources that only worked through the removed lookup service.
- ✓Video and audio still travel through our own proxy, with playback links generated fresh for each request.
- ✓Intro and outro skip markers are unavailable on Server 12 for now, as its current source does not publish them. Auto Skip continues to work on the other servers.
- ✓The home page service notice now reports Server 12 as restored.
- ✓The catalog stays reachable during upstream AniList disruptions: exhausted request budgets are now reported as a typed upstream error, so the AniCore fallback takes over instead of surfacing a generic failure.
